A large and impressive oil painting of dead game on a table with gun, hunting horn and confit pot.
No visible signature, although this may be hidden behind the mount.
The canvas is in good and clean condition. The mount is gilded wood, also good. The frame is gilded on the inside and ebonies don't the outside edge. This shows a few chips which can be easily disguised if you require but we rather like it's slightly aged appearance. The canvas has an old repair. A scratch just inside the hanging leg of the hare.
The size quoted includes the frame.
